Hunger for Righteousness
Freedom from Sin
Matthew 5:6

Chesed: Love, Mercy

There are sins, the violations of specific  but sin, itself, is a state of being. This is understood in the saying, "Whatsoever is not of faith is sin." Similarly, righteousness is mischaracterized as a behavior pattern. Righteousness, which is freedom from sin, is alignment in the Spirit of HaShem; for when a man walks within the Spirit of HaShem, no fault will be found.

We are living sacrifices, whether unto God or unto the demonic principalities of the world. If we choose to serve Truth and Life within the Way without forethought about our conduct or our speech, then we shall not enter into violation because the throne room is swept and the candlesticks are trimmed: not by any behavior we might adopt or forego, but by our desire for congruence.

As believers we ask, "What must we do to be saved?" The answer is the same for each of us. We are to go to who we are; we are to sell all that we claim as our own to God, who will provide the spiritual coin we need give alms to those who do not yet seek congruence: that by the impact of our selflessness, they might be turned. Y'shua said it all in Yahushua: "And I, if I be lifted up, will draw all men unto me." We are saved by the Life that is in HaMashiyach. There are sins, the violations of specific  but sin, itself, is a state of being.
